Here at the ISVA we have many irons in the fire (we tried to sous vide the irons but they kept melting the bags...) and our founders Jason and Mike can only do so much, so we are always looking for fun, smart, and enthusiastic people to help run our organization.

Here are a few of the ways you can become involved and volunteer with the ISVA!

Sponsor, Exhibitor, and Speaker Outreach

We always need help finding and contacting sponsors and exhibitors, working with existing ones to iron out their packages, and making sure they are happy with what they are receiving from us.

This is a great way to build relationships with some of the biggest brands in the marketplace, previous sponsors have included CREA, PolyScience|Breville, Allen Brothers Beef, VacMaster, Vesta Precision, StarGazer Pans and many more.

Content Creation, Social Media, and Marketing

Another big area we can use help with is marketing and content creation. Whether it is blog posts, social media work, video interviews or other types of content creation we are looking to expand the ISVA brand out there.

We need people who want to work with our amazing committee of sous vide greats, as well as our sponsors and speakers, to create content. This would include working with them to provide recipes or information material, interviewing them about their sous vide experiences, writing and sharing bios of them, sharing and responding to their social media posts, and working on other ways to lean on them to educate our fans.

We are also looking for sous vide cooks who want to share their recipes and techniques. Even though they would appear on the ISVA website, you always get full credit for your content and retain all the rights to it. We also will share it through all of our marketing channels.

Blogger Street Team

We are also forming a blogging street team. This is a group of bloggers who are interested in sous vide and promoting it to their fans.

Members of the street team get exclusive access to our speakers, committee members, and sponsors so you can create content of your own around them. The ISVA also will promote your sous vide content in our marketing channels (especially if your recipes or content talks about the ISVA or our members!).

You will also help share our content and messages. This can be as simple as sharing our content on your social media and in your newsletters, and just keeping your readers up to date about what the ISVA is up to.

General Volunteers

Running a conference and organization takes a lot of help and we are always looking for general volunteers. This can range from chatting over email with sponsors about their booth requirements, formatting and sending newsletters, lining up the slides for speakers or even becoming involved in the conference itself as a runner, sponsor wrangler or working the registration table.
