Culinary Travel
Reimagined

The best meals are rarely found on the busiest streets.

They’re tucked away in family kitchens. Hidden behind unmarked doors. Served in villages where recipes have been passed from one generation to the next. Shared around long tables with local winemakers, cheesemakers, fishermen, farmers, and artisans who still believe food is an expression of place.

That’s where we go.

Amazing Food Tours was created for travelers who believe that food isn’t simply something you eat—it’s the most authentic way to experience a destination, understand its culture, and connect with the people who call it home.

Our philosophy

We believe the world’s greatest meals aren’t always the most expensive.

The most memorable experiences don’t require luxury.

The strongest connections are built around a shared table.

When you travel through food, you don’t just visit a destination—you begin to understand it.

That’s why every Amazing Food Tour is thoughtfully crafted around one simple idea:

Extraordinary food has the power to bring people together.

  • Beyond the Guidebooks.

Anyone can visit the famous attractions. We’d rather introduce you to the grandmother who has been making handmade pasta for fifty years. The fourth-generation balsamic producer who only welcomes a handful of guests each season. The shepherd making cheese high in the mountains.

These aren’t tourist experiences. They’re genuine invitations into places where hospitality still feels personal.

Every itinerary is carefully designed to balance iconic culinary landmarks with remarkable hidden gems that most visitors never know exist.

  • Small Groups. Big Connections.

Some of the best memories happen between the scheduled activities. Over breakfast before the day begins. Around a shared bottle of wine after dinner. Laughing together during a cooking class. Celebrating a meal that none will forget.

Our tours are intentionally small because meaningful conversations are difficult in crowds. By the end of each journey, strangers often become close friends, and many guests return trip after trip to travel together again.

  • A Commitment to Culinary Excellence.

Every destination is researched extensively before it’s ever offered.

We and our partners spend countless hours visiting producers, tasting menus, meeting chefs, exploring markets, and building relationships with local partners to ensure every experience deserves a place on the itinerary.

We don’t choose experiences because they’re popular.
We choose them because they’re exceptional.

Whether it’s a Michelin-starred tasting menu, an unforgettable street food stall, a centuries-old family farm, or a hands-on cooking class in someone’s home, every stop has earned its place through quality, authenticity, and the passion of the people behind it.

  • Designed for Curious Food Lovers

Whether you’re an adventurous home cook, an experienced traveler, a wine enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates extraordinary food, our journeys are designed for people who want to experience a destination rather than simply see it.

Expect authentic flavors; passionate local experts; hands-on experiences; and plenty of laughter around the table. And expect to return home with stories you’ll still be telling years later.

— Lisa K.

“I made so many new friends and have traveled with them to other ISVA events. It's been wonderful to have a really solid cooking family and know that the best advice is always available. ”

What happens when you put a small group of passionate food people together in a beautiful home for four nights—and give them permission to cook, experiment, share, learn, and simply enjoy being around people who love food as much as they do?

That’s the idea behind our Redondo Beach Culinary Retreat. This isn't a tour where you spend four days following a guide from one reservation to the next. We’re creating something much more personal: part cooking retreat, part culinary playground, and part really great dinner party.
