Amazing Food Tours
General Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Agreement

By submitting a registration form and/or making a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between you ('Guest') and the International Sous Vide Association, dba Amazing Food Tours (AFT).

2. Reservations & Deposits

Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed until the required deposit has been received.

A deposit is required to reserve your space. Deposit amounts and payment schedules vary by tour and are listed on each individual trip page.

Your reservation is considered confirmed only after your deposit has been received and accepted by AFT.

3. Final Payment

Final payment is due by the date listed for your specific tour.

If final payment is not received by the due date, AFT reserves the right to cancel your reservation and apply the cancellation penalties outlined in your booking confirmation. No reminders are guaranteed.

4. Pricing

Tour prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated. Prices are based upon exchange rates, taxes, supplier pricing, and operating costs in effect at the time the tour is published. AFT reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to final payment should significant changes occur in currency exchange rates, fuel surcharges, government taxes, supplier pricing, or other circumstances beyond our control. You will be given advanced written notice if this occurs.

Once your final payment has been received, your tour price will not increase except where required by governmental action.

5. What's Included

Each itinerary lists the specific inclusions for that tour.

Unless otherwise stated, tour pricing generally includes:
• Accommodations
• Included meals listed on the itinerary
• Guided sightseeing and culinary experiences
• Entrance fees for scheduled activities
• Ground transportation during scheduled tour activities
• Professional tour leadership

Items not specifically listed as included are excluded.

6. What's Not Included

Unless specifically stated otherwise, tour prices do not include airfare, passport or visa fees, travel insurance, optional excursions, meals not listed on the itinerary, alcoholic beverages (unless specifically included), personal purchases, laundry, room service, spa services, gratuities (unless stated), airport transportation outside scheduled group transfers, and costs resulting from delays or disruptions beyond our control.

7. Cancellations by Guest

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation penalties are outlined separately for each individual tour and are based upon supplier agreements. The specific penalties for your tour can be found on the booking page and your email confirmation.

Deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable depending upon supplier requirements.

No refunds will be issued for unused hotel nights, missed meals, missed tours, early departures, late arrivals, or voluntary withdrawal from the tour.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.

8. Cancellation by AFT

AFT reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient participation, safety concerns, natural disasters, political instability, supplier failure, government restrictions, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Should AFT cancel a tour, guests will receive a full refund of monies paid directly to AFT for the tour. AFT is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by guests (such as airfare, additional hotel nights, travel insurance, etc.) unless required by applicable law.

9. Changes to Itinerary

Travel is inherently unpredictable.

AFT reserves the right to substitute hotels, restaurants, guides, transportation providers, activities, or itinerary components when necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to provide experiences of equal or greater quality. No refunds will be issued for reasonable itinerary changes.

10. Travel Documents

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining a valid passport, required visas, entry permits, health documentation, vaccination requirements, and any other required documentation. Failure to obtain required documentation does not qualify for a refund.

11. Health & Fitness

Many tours involve walking, stairs, standing, warm climates, boat rides, and rural locations. Guests should ensure they are physically able to participate and should disclose mobility limitations, allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions before booking. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, but accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

12. Dietary Restrictions

Food is central to our tours. We will work with partners to accommodate dietary restrictions whenever possible but cannot guarantee all allergies or dietary needs can be met. Guests with severe food allergies participate at their own risk.

13. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain tours. Coverage should include trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, lost baggage, and travel delays.

14. Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks including illness, injury, foodborne illness, weather events, transportation accidents, political instability, natural disasters, theft, and delays. By participating, guests voluntarily assume these risks.

15. Release of Liability

AFT acts as an independent tour operator arranging services through independent suppliers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFT shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, expense, or claim arising from participation except where caused by our own negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

16. Force Majeure

AFT shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, changes, losses, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government actions, war, civil unrest, labor strikes, airline disruptions, or supplier insolvency.

17. Photography & Marketing

Unless you notify us in writing before the tour begins, you grant AFT permission to use photographs or video containing your likeness for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation.

18. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully. AFT reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, unsafe, illegal, or materially interferes with the group. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

19. Alcohol

Guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly. AFT reserves the right to refuse participation in alcohol-related activities to anyone appearing intoxicated.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AFT’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid directly to AFT for the tour, except where liability cannot legally be limited.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

22. Acceptance

Submission of a booking and payment of any deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
